I had different passwords for each device that had been encrypted in my family, and a couple were not encrypted but now are, but now none of those passwords work. I had read that it was likely my original account password from many years ago. With as many times as it has been changed, there is no way I will ever remember what that was. I have tried every one available to memory to no avail. I cannot even transfer my back up to a new device when I get one. Does ANYONE know if they are working on a patch or work around for this problem? Anyone know a way to turn off encryption without the original password to get to the back ups? How badly will it bunk up my system to roll back the OS? I’m about ready to seriously look at competitors at the rate these serious problems are occurring lately.
