I have several Apple products, including three iPads, a Mac Mini, three iPhones and a late 2010 Macbook Pro. My entire business is wrapped up around Apple and with the latest iOS updates on the iPhone being problematic and now with the latest El Capitan update, my faith in Apple is fading rapidly…
This morning, I tried to log onto my Macbook Pro, which now suddenly is asking for my iCloud password to log in, so I typed it in and it doesn’t work. I tried it 30 times, still did not work. I went onto appleid.apple.com and changed my password, tried again, still didn’t work. The rest of my Apple products are logging on fine onto iCloud, but not my Macbook. After researching, I have found that I am not the only one having this issue. I called and since my warranty is well out of coverage, I am told I have to pay to get assistance…
So here’s my take on it, and Apple I hope you’re listening/reading. If I am unable to log onto my Apple products as part of my business (I own a small business with 3 employees) than I will move my business away from Apple and back to PC. Apple has great products, but if your support is going to be like this and if you’re going to continue to release updates that are not up to par, than why should I remain a loyal customer?
My patience is wearing thin and if I cannot find a solution, a FREE solution, to a Macbook that cost nearly $2000 less than 5 years ago, than I will be leaving the Apple community this week.
A Apple response would be appreciated..
