Had to migrate from a broken iMac (10.10.5) to a brand new one (10.11.1) using Time machine.
The Adobe Creative Cloud app won’t open. I’ve been through everything with Adobe, including changing all the visible permissions, deleting all apps, folders in libraries – everything! Several times. Re-installed the desktop app – and it won’t open!
So, with Adobe’s assistance, I installed it into the root account, where it works, and I could download and install Lightroom, etc. – and they now work in my user account.
However, the CC desktop app still won’t open in my user account. Adobe says there must be some permission in my user account which has to be reset, and to contact Apple for further assistance. They are not sure where the problem is. Disk utility can’t do permissions anymore.
Please help!
