Apple spent the better part of a day doing upgrades on my iMAC including installing El Capitan. Now like thousands of others, we are asking for a fix. There seems to be no consistent response or fix in any of the forums addressing this issue. I see a lot of very negative things being said about Apple Support, and I too have had nothing but terrible service and support from Apple. IS there a real fix other then re loading El Capitan??? PLEASE APPLE or somebody, come up with a fix. THIS is way to much like dealing with Microsoft. Apple seems to be lost in the woods. Never thought I’d see the day when a senior tier 2 support person tells me that it is not a problem. Clearly, Apple is not reading their own support pages and comments by a myriad of dissatisfied users.
