In 2008 my Son purchased Logic Studio including Logic Pro 8. He intended to buy a Mac computer but for various reasons he did
not. A case of putting the cart before the horse! So the disks, books etc sit unused in a big black box. Now he wants to buy a
new iMac and run the old Logic software on it
From what I can gather this old software is no longer supported and will not run properly on the latest Mac Operating
system. It appears to me that the last operating system it will run OK on is Snow Leopard. This seems to be available from
Apple for about £15So could I use the partitioning utility in El Capitan to create a partition & instal Snow Leopard on that?
Then be able to dual boot
Also assuming the old software requires activation,as this has never happened will this be a problem? He has the Amazon
receipt for it
Any advise will be gratefully received
