A colleague and I are resurrecting separate presentations that we made in Keynote in early 2012. With one small exception, the files open fine. However, we are both accustomed to using our aluminum remote to advance the slides, and neither of us can get the remotes to work with our MacBooks. I have seen references to a new remote app for the iPhone, and I have gotten that app to work, but it is much more cumbersome to walk around the stage with an iPhone rather than the aluminum remote. Is there a way to get the remote to work properly? If not, is there a third party remote that works with the new version of Keynote and El Capitan? (By the way, I did see comments alluding to using Keynote ’09, but I can’t find that app anywhere on the computer since I upgraded).
