El Capitan bootcamp with Windows 10 on Fusion drive

I’m having the issue on trying to install windows 10 on a 2015 iMac with bootcamp assistant – OSX el capitan.

Everything works fine until the windows installer asks me to choose the bootcamp partition, which i do (bootcamp in name), I format it using the format button, which i do… then get the message “we couldn’t create a new partition or locate an existing one” over and over again when I choose the new formatted bootcamp partition. I know its the right partition because it has the allocated space being consistent. I remember this happening before, but unsure how I got around it.

Is this an issue to do with permissions? Is it to do with the fusion drive?

This was using a downloaded iso of windows 10, and going through the right steps with bootcamp.

Thank you for any assistance.
