I’m currently writing my thesis and sincerely regret upgrading my system to El Capitan. The crashes in Word, Powerpoint and Excel are known issues. I’ve updated my system and Office to the newest versions, but it still happens way too often. The ‘AutoRecovery’ feature doesn’t AutoSave and is thereby useless.
Is there any timeline when this will be fixed (like preferably yesterday)? Any work arounds or alternatives? It happened more than once that I lost hours of work now, besides all the other frustrations of freezing, extreme loading times, not being able to open documents because of some memory thing. I don’t have to stress the importance of writing a thesis, but this is a serious bugger.
