I just bought a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015). Not my first MacBook. I’m having problems installing BCA under El Capitan. I ran BCA three times already with the same results. It partitions the hard drive and downloads the support software for Windows no problem, You no longer require a USB drive for the install , all you need is an iso image of the OS you’re installing, which in this case is Windows 10. It then proceeds to install Windows 10 without a hitch, the problem is after windows installs and it prompts you to install the bootcamp drivers, It starts to install and it just hangs for hours when it gets to the installation of the realtek speaker drivers, right around the middle of the install. I’ve ran it three times already with the same results, each time letting it run longer, and by running it I mean I went back to the MAC side and erased the windows partition and re-ran bootcamp from scratch. The last time I ran it I hung up in the same spot I let it ran overnight, I went to settings and prevented the MacBook from going to sleep before letting it run, and still nothing, it wouldn’t advance from that spot. I called the support center to see if I could download the drivers manually so that I can try to re-install without starting the whole process again and they said that with El Capitan which runs BCA Ver 6.0.0 the only way to get the drivers is by running bootcamp which automatically download and installs, he also told me that Apple wasn’t planning on releasing the drivers for download for this latest version. He suggested to do the install in a wired connection because I was installing using wireless, that it might be a packets loss problem, well the last time I did run it wired with the same results. I have three kids all with MacBooks and I have an iMac all running bootcamp on previous versions no problems. Any suggestions?
