I just got a new MacBook Pro to replace my OLD Macbook Pro. The old Macbook Pro was running El Capitan and I had migrated to Photos and added new images to the library since then.
The new Macbook is running Yosemite (which I would prefer). Both Photos and iPhoto are on the new machine. I was able to launch iPhoto and connect to my old iPhoto library, but I lost some pictures that had been imported into Photos. I tried to connect the Yosemite version of Photos to the photo library from the El Capitan version of Photos, but there was a version error.
Short of reconnecting my old MBP back to Photos and exporting everything that I had added and importing it into iPhoto, are there any easier options?
